Welcome to Mountain Trail Whitetails. Home of the biggest bucks in New Jersey.

Our deer preserve is conveniently located in the highlands region of northwest New Jersey in scenic Warren County. With an area consisting of 100 acres of mixed hardwoods and a few acres of pasture, it is very demanding terrain. You will enjoy great views of the Delaware River Valley while hunting for your trophy buck.

We have been managing for trophy whitetail deer since 1999 and have an excellent herd of outstanding bucks on our property. Allowing our bucks to grow to maturity ensures that all will reach Pope & Young Status with many scoring over 200 inches.

You will be the only hunter in the preserve during your stay. You may choose to hunt from one of several ground blinds or ladder stands located on the property or you may bring your own stand. With the right conditions you may see as many as 10 to 15 different bucks a day, offering you an exciting opportunity to harvest your own special trophy.

We guarantee that you’ll get within bow range of a trophy buck. Ranges will vary from 5 to 20 yards. The rest is up to you.

We can accommodate all hunters, from the novice to the most experienced.

Our season begins September 1st and is open through January 31st.
